The North Shore is known for its waterfalls, but the South Shore has its fair share of beautiful falls as well!

Twin Falls Park

Depending on when you’re there, these falls can either be lackluster or absolutely amazing. We saw it for the first time in Feb 2021 when the falls were frozen. It was incredible! We could walk all the way out to the falls, behind a curtain of ice, and hear the water trickling inside. The next time we went, in the summer, it was almost completely dry. You never know what you’ll get with this one!

We LOVE Pattison State Park. There are fantastic walking trails that show off the many breathtaking views of the tallest waterfall in Wisconsin: Big Manitou Falls.
