Johnson Store

If you are missing a basic ingredient or run out of cereal, there is a small town grocery store with basic necessities in Port Wing. Don’t expect to stock up on all your groceries here, but if you just need to grab an item or two, this store can save you a longer trip. They also have excellent smoked fish!

Super One

We typically buy our groceries on our way to the cabin in Superior, WI. There are two locations: one right after the bridge on Hwy 2, and one on the other side of Superior (closer to the cabin) on 2nd St. The first one has an ACE hardware attached and a liquor store next door. The second has an attached liquor store, and there’s a drive-up ice machine nearby for keeping your frozen goods cold.

Iron River Foods

There is also a small grocery store in Iron River, WI. It has more selection than the Johnson Store, but not nearly as much as SuperOne. It’s only a 20-minute drive though, and there’s also a liquor store in town.
